Sizing

Our sizes are generous NZ sizing but we advise checking measurements and using our free custom fitting service to ensure a great fit. Just send us your child's  using the contact tab.  These are long shorts in loose fit, except the waist which needs to be a snug fit to prevent leaks when lying down.   Leg length can be customised too so let us know using the contact tab if you'd like this free service.

Sizing 

Small  - waist 48 - 58cm Rise 36cm   Fits approx age 2-4

Medium - waist 55 - 65cm Rise  44cm   Fits approx age 5-7

Large - waist 60-72cm  Rise 54cm   Fits approx age 8-10

XL - waist 65 - 80cm Rise 58cm Fits approx age 11-13

Absorbency

These shorts are fully lined with flannel, except for the waistband. Absorbency varies due to size, but these shorts will absorb up to a moderate wee or leakage.

Are the shorts noisy?  They are made from high quality PUL (polyurethane laminated polyester) which has a matt finish. If you are familiar with reusable cloth nappies you will  know that it is soft whilst being very waterproof. Whilst it is not exactly the same as board short fabric, the design of these pants means that they are a welcome relief for kids who's only option is a disposable nappy or nappy style reusables.
